On Facebook, you can create a “how well do you know me” quiz. So I did.

Apparently, I’m not well known despite having a blog for over three years.

One of the questions everyone got wrong asked “How old was I when I had my first kiss?” Choices being 6, 13, 18, and 23. Most people guessed 6!! Which I think means I should really keep a closer eye on my kids! As for me, I had my first kiss at 18. Yep, I was a late bloomer. He was 15 and we had been exchanging notes for a few weeks. One night, I drove to a park close to his house, and he used his skateboard to get over there. Yes, he was a ’skater’ down to the wild hair and freaky music he listened to. I wanted my first kiss to be memorable and told him. So I went for the obvious. I climbed  to the top of the jungle gym and hung upside down. Then called him over. After about 30 seconds of that first kiss, all the blood was rushing to my head so that was the end of that. My plan to create a memory worked. I still remember his name, how dark the sky was, how muggy it was outside, etc.

Another Facebook question on my quiz that most people answered incorrectly was “What is my favorite food category?” Most people chose sweets, but I answered carbs. I couldn’t go on a carb-free diet to save my life! Honestly! Pasta, potatoes, rice, bread, etc… If I had to give up sweets, I wouldn’t like it but I’d do it. If I couldn’t have my carbs though, I’d die of hunger!

I think my sister was the only to get this question correct: “Which restaurant have I NOT worked at?” and the answer was McDonald’s. Both my good friends worked there during high school, so I hung out there a lot, but I never drew a paycheck from them. If you haven’t known me for a long time, you would have no way of knowing I worked at a Greek restaurant. In Corpus Christi, Tx. I think the name of the place was “George’s” but I can’t remember for certain. All I remember is that I quit after George offered to met me in the grocery store parking lot while his wife was busy at work. Eww!!! George was 63 years old and I was 24!! I’m not into Sugar Daddies thank you very much!

Speaking of my sister, she also created a quiz, and my final score was horrible!! I don’t know how, but I even picked the wrong answer for her natural hair color! Her first kiss was at 15 (which would have made it just a few months after my first kiss), but she went on her first date at 13! I would say I don’t know which of us is more of a prude, but she at least had a steady boyfriend at 13, while I had to wait until I was 18…

So it seems you can learn a lot about people through quizes they create online, but we could probably all learn a lot more by face to face interrogations.
