Counting down

Ethan begged to sit up front and close so he could take pictures. This was the best one. The kids are just settling in and haven’t started the program yet so this picture doesn’t have smiles or hands dancing to song, but it’s still nice enough.
But yes, they did sit quietly during the grownups schpill, and they did do cute dances to safety songs. When we returned to the classroom, Suzanne got a spiffy helmet that is bright pink and lights up. She says she is ready for the training wheels to come off and to start practicing riding her bike for real. We’ll see about it when the weather cools down a bit. Right now it’s too hot to hold onto the seat and chase a swerving short bicycle.
So now the countdown begins. Three weeks until kindergarten starts. August 18th.
