I hate typing to people sometimes rather than talking. Sometimes the tone of voice is needed to see if you are on the same page, and when you don’t have that, comments can be taken the wrong way.

I also hate it when someone is more honest than myself. Yes, I know I’m not always honest, but who likes being called on it?? What’s worse is that I have real guilt with not being honest, but b/c the other person was sooo honest, it made my attempts at honesty feel pathetic.

Just wanted to vent for a second.

I tried a new meme today that uses a topic and then you post a photograph. I did it on http://www.isarablog.com/ginafish

I like the picture and even left my name on the comment page, and then I went to look at other visitors submissions and realized I had probably gotten in over my head. Most of the other people doing this meme are SERious photographers. Photos are all they have on their website. There are people from Belguim, Japan and other far off locals. I’m in bfe Arkansas! In the boonies! I’ll give the photo meme a whirl, but I’m telling ya…in a few weeks it will really be apparent what an amateur photographer I am. *Bleh!* 3 let downs in one day…

And for an uplifting moment at the end of a downer blog:
Hubby coined a new phrase for me the other day. If you take a little love of the country and mix it with a love of city life, you get Curban. So I’m not country, I’m not urban, I’m curban. There ya go. Give me my swing on the front porch and theater tickets please.
