Memorial Day
by GinafishIt makes me sad that America has forgotten what Memorial Day is for the most part. You never hear family or friends talk about going to the cemeteries to place flowers for soldiers anymore.
Today is a day of remembrance and of thanks.

The above is a link to a press release from the White House, under Clinton’s term, that says on Memorial Day at 3 p.m. your time, you should give pause to remember soldiers who have fought for America.
I might not like war, and have difficulty digesting all the politicians and terrorists agenda, but I do feel empathy for any individual standing up for what you believe in and for the families torn apart by war. So thank you soldiers.
I wish you could all see signs like this, but if you or your loved one dies while serving, may the peace be with you and your family.
