She was sick and was treated like a Queen for three days.

She has been without a fever for two days, and the Queen is still here.

Lord, help me. The servant has started revolt and was actually the dragon from the dungeon in disguise. Teeth gnashing, Eyes flashing…the sleep deprived Mommy is taking the crown back and the little Queen doesn’t like it.

Is it just me that has this problem? I try to be ‘extra’ nice when my kids are sick, and somehow, the line between almost sick, and almost better gets blurred. All of a sudden, they are well, and yet, I’m still treating them like they are sick. Then I wake up and realize I’m a servant instead of a mother, begin the discipline again, and they protest.

Somedays, I can’t wait to be a grandparent, so I don’t have to REAlly discipline kids anymore. It sucks being the dragon lady sometimes.
