Dear Santa,
by GinafishDear Santa,
I know that you keep track of who’s naughty and/or nice, and realize I fall into both categories. Just wanted to let you know, I’ve squared most of the naughty stuff away with Jesus, and we’re cool. So I’m not going to apologize to you for being naughty. Got it?
Okay.
Now, I know most people who shop for me have probably already purchased my gifts. But since you have elves who are just sitting around, eating candy, and waiting to make my gifts, I’ll let you know what I’d like.
Of course, let’s the get the impossible, never going to happen wish list out of the way first:
(in no particular order)
World peace, liposuction, a boyfriend for my sister who is a vegetarian, for U2 to play in concert in Arkansas and for me to get free tickets and backstage passes, for new vehicles for Josh and I, and for a new house. That’s not too much to ask for is it? Didn’t think so.
Let’s see…the highly improbably, but doable list:
(again…in no particular order)
To lose 20 pounds next year miraclously, lots of new cds of musicians I enjoy, new magazine subscriptions, a gourmet food basket with goat cheese and wine, new shoes, a perm, for my sister to have at least 3 dates by May, for Josh’s car to hold out till we can sell it, and for Ethan to read me a story out of his bookcase.
And finally, the doable, and most likely list:
(geez, you think I’ll put them in order this time? Not!)
New casual clothes and underwear. For good health for all my family. To continue to love and to be loved. A package of oreos with dulche de leche. And at least 3 inspired entries a week for Ginafish.
Thanks Santa, you’re a sweetie. I know you are busy this time of year so I really appreciate you taking the time to read my list. If you are just to busy for any of it, don’t worry, I’ll still set out cookies and milk for ya.
Sincerely,
Ginafish
P.S. I know I have lurkers and readers who’d love to write a letter to you Santa, they are just busy people, so maybe instead, they could post their wish list here, and I’d email it to you! *hint, hint*
