Dancing, dancing, dancing!
by GinafishDancing with the Stars is back on tv, and it just makes me smile. My sister and I were big fans of anything with dancers when we were little. Solid Gold, Dance Fever, American Bandstand, all those and more probably.
So Mario Lopez and Joey Lawrence are the two young hotties for the season. Well, Mario, you are a little too cocky, and Joey? well, it looks like you are wearing too much eyebrow pencil dude. And although you are both great dancers, I’ve gotta say, I’m most proud of Jerry Springer at this point.
He’s the oldest contestant, he’s giving it his all, and he’s dancing with a woman a third his age, which has to be awkward when doing the tango, the dance of love. If you look at Viv Fox (I can never remember how to spell her first name) she’s doing a great job too for being an older gal. But how old is she? In her 40s? That’s not old! And the male dancer they paired her with is at the most only 5 years age different either younger or older, I’m not sure.
So then they’ve got Jerry, who is obviously in his 60s, dancing with a 20 something blond bombshell. How hard would it have been to find a dancer who at least looked his equal?
Last night, also, Mario and Joey tried to break the rules. Those ragamuffins! I didn’t even know there were rules! They aren’t suppose to do lifts? Did someone tell them? No one told me?
So my last show winner guesses….Um…Sara Evans the country singer, because she has a huge fan base against one of the guys, Mario or Joey. It’ll probably be Joey. Hmmm…
