What color shirt??

by Ginafish

I was emailed one of those copy/forward/your answers questionnaires this morning by my cousin, LA, and it just struck me as odd some of the questions.

What color shirt and pant are you wearing?

Well, really, who cares? What does it matter what color I’m wearing, as long as I’m dressed. I have sat at my computer in my towel before, but really, is there any need for that? Is there any reason we really have for sitting at the computer naked? Let’s hope not!

Another question: What’s your favorite smell? Well, this one is again, arbitrary, but then, I enjoyed answering it. Thinking of my favorite smells makes me smile. Your brain can remember the smell even if it’s origin is not in front of you. And that releases endorphines. So imagine your favorite smell all afternoon if you want to.

My shoe size…once again, a rather odd question. Most people are going to fall into a standard range, and the only interesting answers you’d ever get would be from those with really tiny feet, or huge feet. And then you’d think, OMG?!? What wierdos! So really, what’s the point of that question either?

If you were another person, would you be friends with you?
Okay, what idiot wrote this question? How many people are going say they don’t like themselves? Really? If you answer no to the question, I suggest you seek counseling.

Who do you miss the most? Well, to be honest, I couldn’t answer this question. For a wide variety of reasons. I’ve had a lot of deaths of older people in my family, yet I’ve never had someone die who I was close to. I did have a miscarriage, and I do think about it, but I never knew that person, so can that count? I don’t know so I didn’t answer it.

Now my cousin had some answers that just cracked me up. What’s your favorite food? She wrote butter. HA! Now this is my cousin who is 5′6″, very attractive, slim, smart, 38 and single. Think Sex in the City type girl living in Kansas. Butter?? Butter?? Lettuce maybe. Or else she got genes I didn’t get, b/c when I eat butter, I might as well be rubbing it on my behind!

Another one of her favorites was the smell of barns. She’s been around horses her whole life so I understand that, but me? I understand the hay part, but not the manure or smell of horses. Allergies.

Here’s an original question for you, that wasn’t on the quiz, if I happened to send it to you…

Where did you see yourself 10 years ago? Doing what you are today? Or something different? My answer on the next entry…
