I could care less…
by GinafishEver notice when someone doesn’t speak correctly? Take the saying “I could care less about…” Could you? Could you really care less? Or do you mean that you couldN’T care less?
My sister’s Nepalise ex learned the word ‘rubber’ growing up (in Hong Kong, from English Nuns), and upon entering college in America, asked for one during class…To the horror of his classmate. Then to giggles, as they realized he wanted an eraser.
I went and saw “Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Wererabbit” the opening weekend in the US. I had read beforehand that totty translated into well… another name for a hot woman, or her *whispers* ‘private parts’. So I got the giggles when the Lady Tottingham told Wallace to just call her “Totty” in a hot breathy voice. No one else really laughed, and I couldn’t have cared less… 
But well, I could care less with regards to visitors leaving comments…so please do.
